Bottle 50 cl: Pours a clear golden with a lacing white head - quite pretty actually. Nose is a litle soapy, perfumy - but no real Simcoe characteristics. Medium body, sweet biscuity malty, doughy, candy-like with a subtle late bitterness. Not a bad lager but a poor showcase for Simcoe! I could doubt if any was added! 230914

[ As Fur Simcoe ].Clear medium amber - orange yellow color with a small to average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting to diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, light to moderate hoppy, grass, citrus notes. Flavour is moderate sweet and light bitter with a average to long duration, sweet malt, fruity hops. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20140522]

Bottle. Pours clear amber with airy off-white head. Clear aroma of hops and citrus, with notes of yeast and cucumbers. Bitter, hoppy flavour, with estery and malty notes and weak touches of citrus. Rather dry and estery finish. Not bad but nothing really special.

DØE. Clear golden with an off-white head. Aroma is sweet, malty and light hoppy - fruity. Flavor is medium sweet and light bitter. Dry and light bitter finish. 220514

Draught, 5.5% at KØ14. Caramelly aroma. Hint of aroma hops. Clear copper colour. Small white head. The flavour is also hoppy, but rather weak.
