A malty dark ale with a complex and flavorful chocolate character with a gentle notes of leather and horse blanket from the wild yeast strain of Brettanomyces lambicus. 330 ml bottle. Practically black body with a big, creamy beige head. Aroma has dark malt, chocolate and some light acidic berries. Flavor is pleasant, mild, dark malt, some coffee, chocolate, caramel, dry fruit and mild Brett impression. Fine balanced body and pleasant aftertaste. I tasted this beer previous as a fresher version, that was a lot more anonymous and clearly need a few years in the basement to develop some Brett character. Hardly a classic but sure smooth and very nice as a mild version of a wild porter.
