375ml bottle. Clear, pale orangey golden colour with average, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Grainy, cereal aroma, sweet-ish hints of liqueur with a honey touch and some alcohol, hooch. Taste is moderately sweet pale malty, slightly grainy, alcohol-driven dry, herbal hoppy overtones. Way too sweet and alcoholic, pyrosis-causing. Bad.

Golden colour witha frothy white head with good duration and nice lacework. aroma has notes of floral hops, slightly resins and some sweet malts. Flavor is slightly sweet at the beginning with good maltiness, light marzipan and bready notes. The final is malty with notes of cookies and slightly bittery hints.

This brew goes out to Jeff Hanneman (Slayer guitarist) who passed away today. Pours a slightly hazy golden colour with a frothy, off-white head, that has decent retention and leaves a bit of foamy lacing. The hop gives the nose a weird scent, almost like a sour outdated brew, but it is not. And it is not as bad. The rest is malt, like German ones. The different hop is tasted as well. Gives out notes of grapes. Overall, malty with decent grains. A little sweetness, but not too much. A little warming alcohol, but not too crazy. A different kind of brew, but good for the style.

Aroma: Very slight cereal and herbal notes with a bit of ether. Visual: Slightly hazy golden blond. Marvelous creamy and dense head. Very long lasting but with no lacing at all. Doesn’t stick to glass also. Taste: Mostly malted, cereal, a lot of grain, hay and slight grassy notes. Mouth feel is also malty, all grain with some ether notes. Texture is oily and body average.

Bouteille 750ml. Couleur orangée un peu trouble, mousse blanche disparaîssant rapidement en laissant un anneau sur les parois du verre. Arôme de céréales, de houblon, un brin herbal et terreux. Goût de céréales fraîches, de miel avec une légère amertume en fin de bouche. Carbonation moyenne-élevée.

Damn this is fine. MY bock if I had to choose. Cloudy blond sexy. Retaining head, weizenbock feel here. Smells like fermented orange juice I left by my bedside table for a month. That shit got me wasted. Leave of fruit love, alcohol well-hidden. Awesome. Big boo-tay on sale for $5 from Peluso.

Pale gold colour. . Slight malt nose. Fresh malty character. Light alcohol and again fresh malts (not bad for a year old maibock). Tasty, something in between the livelier Franconian pale bocks and something more Belgian.
