Nice creamy mediumlasting head. Aroma is slightly roasted, dark malts, roasted grain, puffed rice, coffee, hay, caramel, hints of chocolate. Taste is slightly dry roasted, dark malts, hay, paper, grass, puffed rice, coffee, burnt caramel, cocoa. Medium bitterness, dry harsh mouthfeel. Boring.

Bomber to mug, the appearance was a fairly dark brown color close to black with a sturdy finger’s worth of white foamy head that died off at a mild pace.
Light stringy lace.
The aroma had some roastiness with a little bit of malted milk chocolate and a little bit of nuts.
The flavor copied the aroma pretty nice and bled into the aftertaste and finish as directed.
The palate was about medium bodied with a fair sessionable sort of smooth feel along my tongue. Some carbonation was felt but not distracting. ABV felt fine.
Overall, pretty nicely done porter that I could have again.

A burnt brown with a 1 finger off white head. Smokey aroma with burnt chocolate. Burnt taste, smoked tobacco and fudge. Thin body. Lots of bitterness at the finish

[ As Half Acre Chub Step ].Clear dark black brown color with a small to average, frothy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, chocolate, cacao, dsuty malt. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, chocolate, cacao. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20140430]

From tap. Pours pitch black with a small off white head. Aroma is mild fruity and roasted malty. Mild sweet, roasted and malty. Light coffee and chocolate. Mild sweet, light fruity and roasted malty. Bitter and dry roasted finish.

[4/30/14] Draught at Mikkeller Bar in Copenhagen. Black. Roasty aroma with coffee and some licorice. Roasty bittersweetish flavor with coffee, some cocoa, a bit of licorice and a more roasty and more bitter finish. Medium-bodied. Decent.
