Brown colour and tiny beige head. Chocolate, bourbon, alcohol, vanilla in the nose. Medium-bodied to full-bodied. Sweet, bourbon, toffee, alcohol and some vanilla in the flavour. Sticky.

Coppery lack colour, small off-white head. Aroma is chocolate, some alcohol, vanilla sweet bourbon and toffee. Flavour is fruity, floral and wooden with dried fruity toffee and alcohol. Nicely balanced.

330 ml bottle. Pours a bright reddish brown with short foamy head. Aromas of caramel, sweet bourbon, nougat graham cracker, raisins, and doughy malts. Flavors follow same with some vanilla if I think about it. Quite malty but lots of smooth caramel and bourbon to compliment. Great barrel effects. Excellent.

330ml bottle, batch 3. Pours very dark brown, with a very thin tan head. Aroma has lots of vanilla, dark malts, dark fruits, toffee. Taste feels quite sweet at first, with dark fruits, toffee/caramel malts and of course the vanilla, rising alcohol warmth and a bitter finish. Medium bodied.

CBJ bottleshare. Thanks to Fergus for the bottle. A light haze on this amber beer, small pale tan head. Smooth palate, airy and light, reasonable fine carbonation. Airy malts, a little caramel and cream. Spicy herbal bourbon, a little ripe fruits. Airy finish. Curious brew but, quite drinkable.

Bottle shared at craft beer junction bermondsey tasting. Many thanks. A clear copper brown coloured pour with a loose beige head. Aroma is vanilla, vinous funk, paint, hot alcohol, bruised grape. Brown sugars. Flavour is composed of medium sweet, oily, paint, vanilla. Oak, bruised grape, vanilla, balsa wood. Palate is semi sweet, oily, oaky tannin, mellow carbonation.
