Bottle looks really interesting. Beer in the glass deep black, nice head. Starts mild, modest malty, a bit sourish-moldy. Almost no dry notes. Finish still mild, almost washy. Nothing special.

(bottle) Clear, chestnut-brown colour with a beige and dense medium-sized foamy head. Moderately sweet and slightly toasty malty aroma with nutty notes and a tinge of cacao. Slightly sweet flavour, light to medium bodied with a modest carbonation. Mildly toasty and nutty malty aroma with shades of caramel and chocolate, also slightly papery hints towards the sweet and slightly toasty bitter finish. Ordinary Dunkel, not to be confused with a Schwarzbier. 26.VIII.11
