After one year of aging in the bottle, the 2019 batch of Dandelion beer is ready.
This beer was fermented and aged on LOTS of dandelions. Then aged in bottles 12 month. You can expect deep floral aroma. Flavours of honey and subtle earthy complexity. A delicate warming finish.
Inspired by the dandelion wine that your grandma (and her grandma) used to make. We harvested the dandies from a nunnery in Kingston and spent days processing the flowers by hand. This beer is a true labour of love and an important tie to our culture and roots. We love it more than anything.

[2021 vintage] 12oz bottle at brewery. Pours cloudy yellow with minimal white head. Aroma is lightly floral and malty. Flavour has very subtle wild yeast, weedy grass and floral notes, honey, lemon. Becomes more complex as you drink. Definitely getting the dandelion. Mouthfeel is a bit oily. Not super exciting, but a cool idea nonetheless and well-executed.
