Visual Appearance: Nera con schiuma compatta e cremosa dalla ottima persistenza di color nocciola.
Olfactory Hints: Aroma pulito con caffè liquido e macinato in evidenza, il caramello bruciato, la liquirizia in e l’orzo tostato giungono immediatamente dopo. In sottofondo una leggera affumicatura e lievi note vanigliate ed etiliche arricchiscono il bouquet olfattivo di questa Imperial Porter.
Body and Taste: Al palato è estremamente morbida. Il gusto è dominato dal caffè e dalla liquirizia con note di cacao amaro e cenere in secondo piano. Un piacevole tepore etilico emerge allo scaldarsi della birra fondendosi con le note di caffè e cioccolata ( un pocket coffee??? ). L’amaro è perfettamente bilanciato e mai astringente. La carbonazione moderata enfatizza in corpo importante e la sensazione palatale vellutata.
Ingredients: Acqua, Malto d’Orzo, Avena, Caffè, Luppolo, Lievito, Vaniglia.

bottiglia 33 cl, schiuma color cappuccino scarsa ed evanescente, colore ebano, al naso caffè liquirizia cacao nocino leggero affumicato, in bocca su tutto caffè poi malto tostato cioccolato fondente liquirizia vaniglia frutta secca leggero tabacco, corpo strutturato, alcool ben bilanciato, carbonazione piatta, dolce con amaro accentuato, morbida all’inizio e asciutta nel finale. 33cl can from AbeerVinum, Rimini, Italy. Pours black, thick, with very fine brown foam. Aroma is intense of coffee immediately after opening the can. Body is fairly thick, smooth and creamy, with little tickling carbonation. Taste is obviously roasty bitter, with also with a little underlying sweetness. Final is still intense.

Tap at CBF Vienna. A pretty well balanced beer in which the dry, earthy coffee makes a great addittion to the solid base beer. Earthy notes, dark chocolate, dried fruits, sweet boozy touch.

Lattina. Il naso viene catturato da orzo tostato e caffè. L'intensità olfattiva è elevata e il modo in cui permane è apprezzabile. Il cappello di schiuma color marrone scuro resiste poco. La grandezza delle bollicine è a grana fine. Il colore è come l'inchiostro nero. Il corpo è strutturato. L'amaro è contenuto. La forza gustativa è elevata e la persistenza è buona. Le sensazioni boccali finali risultano di birra beverina. Il retrogusto è intenso. Sul tetto della bocca finiscono note di miele, cereali, cioccolato, caffè, liquirizia, frutta secca, un accenno di resinoso, agrumi e frutta passita.

Roasty, with plenty of coffee. Dark chocolate and a small dose of cream. Bitter ass finish with big body. Almost a hint of licorice. Proper all the way through. Tap at Ma Che. 848417

Dark tan head and opaque dark body. Aroma and flavour both a solid combination of dark chocolate and caramel. Definitely a dessert beer, focusing primarily on sweet flavours, but not syrupy. Very enjoyable as a dessert beer, would have again. After dinner.
