The beer is produced as Grand Champion 2013 in collaboration with Antal Németh, the winner of the international competition Slovak Homebrewing Star 2013. It is a “white IPA”, i.e. a wheat beer, which with its distinctive hopping and fermentation falls into the style of India Pale Ale. The colour of the beer is characterized by a dark yellow-golden colour. The beer is not filtered, so any cloudiness is caused by the yeasts present in the beer. The aroma is very pronounced, pleasantly aromatic, with strong notes of tangerine and sour exotic fruits.

Many thanks to MisoW for this beer. Ins Glas ergießt sich ein leicht trübes orangegoldenes Bier mit schöner Schaumkrone. Geruch gering hefig, etwas Citrus. Geschmack sehr bitter fruchtig, malzig, Citrus, etwas Grapefruit, ungewöhnlich aber gutes IPA.

hazy orange colour, moderate slightly yellowish off-white head; aroma and taste are less hoppy-dominated and some alcohol can also be felt (surprisingly...6.5ABV is not too much to explain this fact);not a typical IPA, not even as complex and sophisticated as a De Molen, or Mikkeller IPA, but it’s still ok

draught at Kulovy Blesk. Hazy deep golden with an amber-orange glow. Stable, creamy white head. Intensive malty base delivering loads of aromatic hops, spicy, resiny, hints of citrus fruit and mango. Delicious and very moreish!

Tap at RJ. Aroma raw hops power, IMO saaz, hints of citrus, zesty. Ice cream. Lightly hazy orange colour, stable white head. Taste is hoppy enough for an IPA. Flavours of orange, tangerine, orange peel. Underlying caramel maltiness. Not a masterpiece, but reasonably well done. One of Kaltenecker’s more successful experiments. Tangerine and zesty finish.

Tap at Richtar Jakub, Brratislava. Dark golden color with medium white head. Aroma of malt, aromatic hops, grapefruit, grapefruit zest. Taste, malt, grapefruit zest, caramel, tangerines. Light hoppy finish. Drinkable.
