The monks would brew this not quite session Patersbier or fathers beer to enjoy with any earthly task but leave them capable for the heavenly endeavors that may follow. Our version is brewed with Pilsen, Vienna and pale wheat malt, with modest Czech Saaz hop additions to let the Belgian yeast driven fruity flavors shine. Amen.

Hops and Hocks, Brooklyn tap: pours light copper with white head. Aroma is European hops, some grass, and a hint of Belgian yeast. Taste is rather simple. It ain’t very bitter. Easy enough to drink rapidly. Not a beer one really remembers.
