Tap @ The Southern, 22-26 South Clerk Street, Newington, Edinburgh, Scotland EH8 9PR. [ As Stewart Craft Beer Kitchen 48 Carrot Ale ].Clear medium yellow orange color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is light moderate malty, pale malt, light caramel, herbs, sweet something - maybe the carrot. Flavour is moderate to light light heavy sweet with a average to long duration, fruity - herbal, vegetables, agian sweet something - asume it is the carrots. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. [20140314]

Keg at the Southern. Pours clear golden orange, big bubbly head. Aromas of yeast and light spice. Taste is where the carrot is at. Nice. Orange bitterness, kind of like a carrot and coriander soup, mixed with beer, in a good way.

On tap at the Southern. Appearance - golden orange with a decent head. Nose - carrot and orange. Taste - more of the same. Palate - medium bodied with a tangy texture and a relationship relatively fresh finish. Overall - decent ale.

Tap at the southern... amber ... Thin white head... Soft light carrot nose... Too fizzy... Little thin... Softest carrot... Interesting but its lacking a little carrot
