I bought this because I am a sucker for fancy packaging - fizzy red beer - zero head or lacing - tart cherry aroma, with some light notes of vanilla, which I’m assuming is from the oak, some grainy/wheaty notes - not much else happening there - medium body, light flavor - flavor is medium-tart, with some earthy/natural sour cherry flavors, notes of toasted cereal grains, wheat - the oak is present, but very subtle, and it actually compliments the cherry character quite well - very mild christmas-y spices underneath, especially as it warms - fairly tart and refreshing, but there is a certain depth missing.
