A big bold Imperial IPA! The clean malt plays a supporting roll to the straight up Simcoe hops through and through that give this varietal hop bomb its bang!

Nearly clear amber, with a short, quick, off-white head. Cedar/Pine aroma. Taste is spicy, bready, orange-sweet over herbal/leafy bitter. Ok, but mild for an Imperial.

Bottle. Pours clear amber with a medium creamy off-white head that dissipates slowly with nice lacing. Aroma is simcoe-y; grapefruit, cat piss, a bit tropical passionfruity. Flavor is about the same, light sweetness, medium bitterness. Medium body, oily palate coating mouthfeel. Nice stuff.

12oz bottle. Unfiltered murky orange-brown. Thin, oily beige head. Earthy almost mango tinged hop aroma. A pretty smooth, tasty, easy drinking IPA. Simcoes are really quite nice, sort of the bridge between old school super bitter varietals and new school NZ stuff. A quality offering. Maybe not the perfect mouthful but a great balance. A pretty nice IIPA.

From a 12 oz brown bottle.Yellow with an Alcohol, grassy mild hop smell. Taste is smashing hop wallop to the jaw, wew; terribly terribly on nasty hop nellie style. Each sip is blinding brain impact. Who cares what kind of hop this is, all you need to know is that its massive. Finish is a brick wall that never gets out or yer mouth. Green resin bricks made of compressed aged green grapefruits. There, you wanted it, you have it, you got it. A on-target sample example of an extreme style. Like macro lager? Don’t think about this happy stuff. Balderdash!

Medium bodied with a creamy texture. Lively carbonation and a long bitter finish. Overall, awesome. I would love to drink this again.

Bomber from bittermestupid. Thanks Greg. Pours light amber with a foamy/creamy white head. Aroma is lots of resin. Full bodied. Flavor is heavy resin over light roast caramel. Like super hoppy barley wine. It finishes on the bitter side with smooth hints of brown sugar. Wonderful.

Bomber shared by Kinz at the 15th Richmond Ratebeer Gathering, 7/16/11. Pours a clear vibrant copper color with a large offwhite head. Decent head retention and lacing. Aroma of leafy, citrus hops. The taste is bitter citrus hops, crackery notes and caramel. Medium bodied. Lingering bitterness. Nice beer.
