Draft @ CBC 2014. Pours an almost black color with a small tan head. Has a slightly roasted malty woody bourbon and chocolate aroma. Slightly roasted malty bourbon woody vanilla flavor. Has a sweetish slightly roasted malty bourbon and chocolate finish.

CBC. Almost black with a lasting light brown head. Aroma is sweet, roasted malt, coffee, vegetables, bourbon, vanilla and cocoa. Flavor is very sweet and rather bitter. Sweet finish with warming alcohol. 020514

Pitch black, decent head smells like a total bourbon bomb. vanilla, oak tannic. sweet taste dessert forward. there’s a lot going on but you taste every bit of the booze. thin mouthfeel.

Draught at CBC 2014. Opaque black liquid with a medium light tan head. Aroma of chocolate, wood, vanilla, licorice, coffee and raw sugar. Taste is light to medium sweet and light bitter with notes of bourbon, chocolate and vanilla. Medium bodied with low to medium carbonation. Nice.

Taste is sweet, syrupy and mildly roasty with caramely toffee, cocoa and vanilla notes. Finish is woody, roasty and sweetish with loads of vanilla, wood, oak and cocoa notes. Pretty tasty and balanced turbocharged brown ale with loads of bourbon, vanilla and cocoa.
