Draft at Copenhagen Beer Celebration 2014. Pours clear, deep brown with a creamy, tan head. Old wood in the nose, some cocoa, leather. Medium to big sweet flavour with rich dark sugars, dates, chocolate, earth, burnt honey. Full bodied with fine carbonation. Warming finish with rich and layered dark sugars, light earthy bitterness, honey, toffee. Nice, deep.

From tap at Copenhagen Beer Celebration 2014. Dark brown almost black color with beige head. Roasted malty aroma, caramel, chocolate, cocoa, licorice, dark dried fruits, vanilla, wood, alcohol. Sweet and bitter taste Like aroma. Medium to full oily body with soft carbonation.

From tap. Pours pitch black with a small tan head. Aroma is chocolate and vanille, dark roasted. Bitter, vanilla and toffee malty, chocolate. Lingering vanilla and dark malty. Bitter and dry roasted into the finish.

Keg at the Copenhagen Beer Celebration 2014 yellow session. Aroma is woody, bourbon, oak, and vanilla pods. Appearance is caramel / brown coloured pour with a cream coloured lasting halo of head. Flavour is wood, vanilla, bourbon, big barrel character, perhaps too much. Some sweet choc and praline. A lot of warming boozey alcohol in the finish. Full bodied, fairly smooth on the tongue, light spicy finish.

Draught @ CBC 2014 [ Yellow Session ]. - Copenhagen Beer Celebration 2014, Sparta Hallen, Gunnar Nu Hansens Plads 11, 2100 Copenhagen, Denmark [ As Cycle Chocolate Bourbon Barrel Aged Batch 300 w/ Cocoa Nibs and Vanilla Beans ].Clear medium to dark brown color with a small to average, frothy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, chocolate, cocoa, vanilla, alcohol - bourbon. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, vanilla, vanilla beans, chocolate, cacao. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat, finish feel is light alcoholic. [20140502]

CBC Session 1. Lightly hazy deep amber beer, tiny pale tan head. Light dry palate. Fine carbonation provides mild crispness. Light vanilla balances well with mild tangy bourbon. Touch of dark cherry and dark fruits. Light dry finish. Tasty!

[5/2/14] Draught sample at Copenhagen Beer Celebration. 1st session. Very dark brown with a tan head. Aroma of vanilla, bourbon, chocolate, cocoa, some fruitiness and a bit of caramel. Sweet flavor with caramel, cookies, chocolate, vanilla, fruitiness, bourbon, a woody note and a light alcoholic note. Full-bodied. Great.
