Get ready to experience the radiance and beauty of the moon in a whole new way with the third installment in our STONED series of gemstone-inspired IPAs!
Each beer release in this series will be inspired by, named after, and feature the unique artwork of a different gemstone.
The Moonstone gemstone is associated with the energy of the moon (due to its unique, glowing, optical effect) and has been used in various cultures throughout history for its mystical and healing properties. Moonstone is also said to promote emotional balance, intuition, and enhance creativity.
Stoned: Moonstone was brewed with a base of pale barley malt, an abundance of malted wheat and oats, and a hop combination that will take you on a celestial journey to the moon and back.
This hazy, imperial IPA pours a light-yellow orange hue into a glass and radiates a bouquet of wonderful hoppy aromas provided by a double dose of dry hopping with Cryo Pop, Cashmere, and Azacca.
We get notes of perfectly ripened honeydew melon, freshly picked mango, bright lime mist, Pixie Stix, tangerine, and juicy peach.

Draft at the Source, 4/24/23. Hazy yellowish, white head, plenty of lace. Lemon-lime, honeydew, and a little mango. Stone fruit notes as well. Fairly sweet, but not overly so. Another really nice one.

Tap at the brewery taproom Philadelphia. A translucent golden yellow coloured pour with a sticky white head. Aroma is semi sweet. Juicy peach. Passion fruit peach. Waxy. Orange rind, grassy,. Flavour is composed of semi sweet semi sweet, melow Sabro, white grape, soft wheat, grass, juicy fruit. Palate is semi sweet, rounded, moderate carbonation. White grape. Spicy. Really nice.
