Bottle. A dark brown one, topped by a small, dense, beige head. The aroma has caramel and dried fruits, with some coffee and roasted malts. Smoked notes. It’s lightly warming on the palate, full-bodied and with a nice carbonation level. Roasted malts, coffee and a pleasant bitterness in the flavor. Some smoke hints. Roasted finish. Quite pleasant, but not impressive, and a tad too warming. 140228

Bottle @ fonefan tasting. Nice head with good duration. Color is dark brown. Aroma and taste are roast malt, chocolate, caramel and hops. Not much smoke at all.

Bottle. Creamy off-white good mostly lasting head. Dark reddish Brown colour. Moderate malty and light hoppy light smokey aroma. moderate bitter nice bacon smoked flavor. Average moderate bitter finish. Oily palate. Nice smoked.

Bottle. @ Ungstrup. Pours a dark brown color with a small tan head. Has a slightly roasted malty weak smoky caramel aroma. Sweetish malty smoky caramel flavor. Has a Sweetish malty spicy smoky caramel finish.

Bottle @ Home. Pours dark brown with a fading brown head, nice lacings. Aroma of roasted malt, bread, little caramel, chocolate, light smoke. Flavor is rather sweet with rich malts, grainy, bread, chocolate, caramel, baconlike smoke. Medium body, average carbonation, sweet finish with some light warming alcohol. 120214

Bottle 50 cl. Pours an opaque, dark brown with a frothy cappuchino-style head. Some subtle Bamberg-style smoke in the nose atop quite some chocolate. Rich and solid malty body with the smokiness becoming even more distinct flavour-wise. Again some chocolatey malts and a neat, balancing bitterness. Flawless as such - If only I liked smoky beers.... 120214
