Vom Fass im Muted Horn Berlin 2017-03 getrunken und aus der Flasche (batch Lot810 - bbe2020-12) 2017-04 getrunken. Wie schon die Version aus dem Zapfhahn - Schönes Sour Ale mit ganz leichter Pflaumennote. Aus der Flasche ist das Pflaumenaroma etwas kräftiger.

Cloudy, slightly murky amber, offwhite head. Vinous aroma, berries, sourish plums, oak and light funk. Sour, tart flavour, plums and berries. Some sweetness, dry but still juicy. Soft carb with lasting sour bite.

Draft at Foeders. Very hazy orange with a ring white head. Aroma of tart plum, vinous notes, grapes and citrus. Flavour is light to moderate sweet and above moderate sour. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

375 bottle from Jeremy. Pours out a cloudy, pinkish color with small bubbly head. Tartness is evident from first whiff. followed by fruit sweetness. Taste follows with a fair amount of pucker, and strong pit fruit flavors. Rounded out by some woody notes.

Small bottle pours out a hazy peach color topped with a white head. Nose is sour tartness pit fruit must be the plums cherries a dark some wood. Taste is more of tartness berries and a nice wood barrel.

Bottleshare at Matteo’s. Thanks to Matteo. Lightly hazy gold beer, small pale cream colour head. Palate is light, dry and fairly crisp. Puckery sour lemon citrus. Sour generic fruits, can’t pick the plum out. Little floralness. Light lemony finish. About as sour as I like ’em.

0,33l bottle at home. BB 12/2020. amber cloudy color, small white head. smells marzipan, nutty, light plums, light funk, berry notes. lovely smell. medium to full body, bubbly carbonation, slick mouthfeel. tastes of plums, green apples, funky, nutty, marzipan, citric, some wood. finishes lightly sour with notes of citrus, green apples and wood notes. good stuff, quite refreshing, not overly complex but nicely drinkable.

Bottle shared at the inaugural Matteo tasting, 31/10/2016. Many thanks to Matteo for this one. A dirty dark amber orange coloured pour with a loose white head. Aroma is tangy plum, underripe fruit, apricot, jammy fruit, hot alcohol, alcohol, tangy lacto. Flavour is composed of mellow acid, lacto, peach and underripe plum. Palate is frothy, acidity, high spritzy carbonation. Good tangy finish.

Bottle shared in London - thanks to Matteo. Mild gusher, pours hazy golden orange with a frothy, white head. There’s some acetic action in the nose, peach, plum, white grape. Ligh sweet flavour with cutting acidity, lemon juice, more peach and plum. Light bodied with smooth carbonation. Dry finish, with more bracing acidity, lemon candies, more peach and plum, a little woody dryness. Good punchy sour.
