22 fl oz bottle bought at the brewery. Labeled as Pumphouse Porter, 6.4% alc. by vol. Hope IΒ΄m right here. Nearly black in the glass, one finger beige head. Coffee on the nose, some malt in the background. Taste starts malty with a load coffee, some caramell in the background. Later hints of licorice. Low sweetness and low bitterness in the aftertaste.

A dark reddish brown beer topped by a small, dense, beige head. The aroma has chocolate, roasted malts and some coffee, with prunes and dried figs in the far back. Itβs semi-dry and full-bodied on the palate, with a pleasant carbonation level. Dried fruits and caramel, and a touch of coffee in the flavor. Some bitterness, mostly of the roasted kind. Lasting finish with chocolate, caramel and some dried fruits. Although a bit sweet, itβs a nice beer that I could easily down a few of. 140118
