En India Pale Ale är till stilen distinkt besk och humlearomatisk. Klackabackens IPA är trogen stilen. Vi brygger vår IPA med amerikansk humle för att locka fram smaker av citrusfrukter, ananas och passionsfrukt. För att balansera humlen har vi använt karamell- och vetemalt. Denna karaktärsfulla IPA passar utmärkt till grillat, vällagrade ostar och kryddstark mat.

Pale golden with low head. Grassy aroma with plenty of fruit, like mango. Also in the taste. Balanced bitterness.

Tap at the Green Lion, Malmo. Poured a hazy medium amber with a thin white head. The aroma is grassy nettle hop. The flavour is medium bitter with a big resin bitter hop palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation. A nice enough IPA but I have to question the hops they used. Something isn't quite right.

Bottle @ First Semester Ulfborg, 2014. Pours hazy golden with a creamy head. Yeast, perfume and hops. Really raw and bitter. Medium bodied. Everlasting biting bitterness..

Bottle. An unclear, dark golden beer with a dense, beige, two-finger head. The aroma is piney and with a touch of grapefruit and some malts. It’s full-bodied and with a tad too much carbonation. Semi-dry. It’s tasting of bitterness, grapefruit and pine cones, some sweetish pale malts in the back. Bitter, citrus peel finish. Pretty decent, but far from the best IPA I’ve had. 140117

Pours clear deep golden with a off-white head. Aroma has notes of malt, caramel, citrus, grape, orange and pine. Taste is medium sweet and medium bitter with a long citrus and bitter finish. Body is medium, texture is thin to oily, carbonation is soft.

Bottle @ fonefan tasting. Nice head with good duration. Color is golden. Aroma and taste are malt, grass, hops, fruits and little caramel.

Bottle from Systembolaget, e-order in November 2013. (my first one from this brewery) Hazy amber with a small head. The aroma was sweet with strawberry jam, some tropical fruits and toffee. Taste of fruit, grapefruit, some toffee and malt. Not that bitter. The mouthfeel was a bit sticky.

Flaska från Systembolaget. Bärnstensfärgad klar vätska med vitt skum dom snabbt klingar av. Honung, maltsötma i doften. Humledoften drar åt det lite tråkiga hö-iga hållet med små inslag av citrus och kåda. Enkelspårig sötma med ren beska. Mjuk kladdig vätska. Spretig eftersmak med en antydan av brännande alkohol.
