Bottle from Northumbrian Gifts. Pours a clear amber-red , small white head, little retention.. Aroma of caramel, dark fruits, leafy and light herbal hops. Taste of caramel, spice, leafy hop, dried fruits. Light to medium bodied, slight dryness, easy drinking but not too light. Good flavours.

11/5/2019. Bottle from Brew Cavern, Nottingham. Pours amber with an average sized off-white head. Aroma of caramel, hops, malt, fruit and light spicy notes. Moderate sweetness, medium bitterness. Medium body, oily texture, average carbonation. Toffee, hoppy finish. Quite drinkable.

Bottle from Taste of Northumbria. Appearance - deep amber to red with a lovely fluffy head. Nose - redcurrants and sweet malt. Taste - more sweet malt but fresh with it. Nice lingering redcurrant finish. Palate - close to medium bodied. Dry crunchy middle. Dry malt bitter finish. Overall - very nice.

Bottle. Copper coloured, with a slight, off-white, head. A malty beer, with a hint of hedgerow fruit, leafy hops and decent, bitter, finish. Good.

Bottle 500ml. @ cgarvieuk [ Lets do a chrisO Tasting ], Edinburgh, Scotland. [ As From The Notebook Red Admiral ].Clear medium amber color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, toffee, light nutty - tobacco. Flavour is moderate sweet and bitter with a long duration, caramel, nutty, hoppy. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20140315]

Ruby copper, clear, big fluffy frothy off white head, good lacing
Aroma - Fruity caramel malts, slight floral hop, soft sweet fruits, soft citrus hops
Taste - Caramel malts, soft fairly fruity malts, some caramelised orange, dab of toasted malts, quite malty, soft citrus hop, good flavour
Palate - soft carb, medium body, sweet fruits, bitter zesty hops on sides of tongue. Finish as main flavour, little dry, soft bitter zest, quite bitter lingering finish
Overall - Quite a decent beer...nice malts in this
