Great Adaptations was brewed in partnership with The Glacier Trust, a charity very close to our hearts, working to enable Nepalese communities to adapt to climate change.
We created this beer with the addition of organic coffee and cardamom grown by farmers in Solukhumbu, a Himalayan mountain region on the frontline of climate change, where regular landslides, storms and drought occur.
The beer itself is complex, with a layered smoothness and flavour spectrum that intrigues yet satisfies the palate.

440ml can from Redland Stores, Bristol. Deepest brown in colour, with undertones of red and a frothy, off-white, head. Chocolate and coffee bean aroma with a touch of spice. Rich, complex, flavours with some caramel sweetness up front, more coffee, creamy malts, some red berries and a lingering cardamom note amongst a drying finish. Excellent.
