In the City of Durham stands an iconic and unique building.
Redhills was built by the Durham Miner’s Association and opened in 1915. It served as a grand headquarters for its welfare activities and was home to a magnificent debating chamber for the colliery delegates - famously known as the “Pitman’s Parliament”.
Our Red Ale is dedicated to this historic building and the miners of the Durham coalfield whose labours and subscriptions enabled its construction”
TASTING NOTES
An illustrious red ale which mines a rich seam of toasted dark malt sweetness, forming a perfect union with subtle orange and blackcurrant English hop flavours
