Bottle. Very dark brown with medium beige head. Aroma is roasted malts, chocolate, salt liquorice, caramel, coffee, notes of vanilla and fennel. Flavour is roasted malts, chocolate, strong salt liquorice, medium sweet, hop, fennel, spices, notes of vanilla and a little bitter.

Bottle 500ml. [ As Midtfyns Bryghus Imperial Stout Lakrids og Fennikel ].Clear dark black brown color with a large, frothy to creamy, good lacing, mostly to fully lasting, light beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, chocolate, dark malt, licorice. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, chocolate, licorice, roasted. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft, finish feel is light alcoholic. [20140416]

[Thanks to 1st European Secret Santa]. Black colour with a frothy and creamy off white head with medium lasting. Aroma has notes of roasted notes with licorice and burnt caramel. Flavor is slightly sweet at the beginning, notes of roasted and toasted malts, mild coffee mouthfeel and slightly fennel in the aftertaste with a creamy and smooth mouthfeel.
