Bottle at Fastelavn Smagning 2014 @ J&C’s beer palace, Jutland Saturday Session 1 - 01/03/14. Golden with a moderate off white covering that retains well. Nose is light citric rind, bready, yeast esters, lime juice, spice, musty tones. Taste comprises lime, straw, spice, woody tang, citric rind, white pepper. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. So so - doesn’t offer a lot.

Bottle, 75cl. 2006 vintage. It’s a clear, golden beer topped by an off-white head of moderate size. Lots of oregano on the nose, with little else escaping the glass. Some maltyness and lemon. The flavor is quite lemony acidic, with oregano, some black pepper, white sugar and a little bitterness. Medium body, quite effervescent and dry. Citrusy, lemony finish with some herbs and spices. At first, there’s too much oregano in this one, but it turnes out to be a pretty nice beer for sure. 140301

Bottle thanks to bu11zeye. Pours with a white head that lasts over a clear golden hued body. Aroma is quite herbal, very minty, menthol, spicy, elderflower, coriander, strawberry and watermelon like fruit esters. Flavors are of strawberry, cigar humidor, coriander, funky, minty, mildly tart. Light oxidation. Very lively bubbles, dry. Some lemon-lime character in the finish.
