The minute you crack your can, aroma of grapefruit, mango and pine hit you in the face; like a beaver slapping his tail on a pristine small body of water in Ontario. Canuck pours a deep gold, bordering on burnt orange that produces a tight snowy white toque. Take one last nose before getting into the liquid, which you’ll soon find will be hard to put down. Soft carbonation leads into a sweet honeyish start before it gives way to more grapefruit, tropical citrus, canned peaches and pine. Light to medium body with a very dry finish. Drink at your local pub, in the fish hut, campground, the beach, in a canoe (responsibly), playing shinny, on a log…actually, anywhere north of the 49th.

This pale poured a cloudy, orange with a big, bold, white head. Minimal lacing. Scents include grassy hops, malts and flowers. First swig was watery but quite flavourful. Flavours of grass and dough most prominent. Finish I lightly bitter with malty notes lingering. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Rich amber coloured body with a copper glow and a nice, three centimetre tall tan head. Aroma of super fresh hops, earth, caramel and a touch of grain. Medium-bodied; Strong hop flavour at first with some subdued earth, toffee, caramel and rye flavours and a lot of fresh hop bitterness toward the end. Aftertaste shows a bit of grass, a lot of caramel and some toffee as well. Overall, a nice and respectable beer with a lot of fresh hop notes and some subtle caramelised sugar flavours throughout. I sampled this 50 cL can purchased from the LCBO on Wellngton (underground) near York Street a few hours ago on 08-August-2016 for CA$2,65 sampled in my hotel room a few hours later here in Toronto, Ontario, Canada on 08-August-2016.
