From keg at Ansbach & Hobday, Beermondsay, London, 24.08.19. Amber copprt. Frothy, dense and persistent beige head. Moderate aroma of pine shoots, American hops, grapefruit and bell peppers. Excellently complex and balanced taste of pine, caramel, coffee, bitter grapefruit, medium roasted malt and dark chocolate. Grapefruit bitterness and chocolate is lingering on.

Keg at Anspach. A cola brown coloured pour with a a lasting beige head. Aroma is singed pine, Douglas, woody malts, smoke. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, resinous sticky pine, toasted malts, pine needles, bark, cola cubes, ginger. Palate is semi sweet, resinous, sticky hop, moderate carbonation, good authentic black ipa.
