500ml Bottle - Golden with a foamy head. Pine, grapefruit and a hint of ginger in the aroma. Earthy taste with grapefruit and earthy notes dominating. It tastes a little thinner than I was hoping for.

(Cask at Cask Pub & Kitchen, Pimlico, London, 11 Apr 2014) Golden colour with foamy, white head. Fruity, malty nose with notes of grass, tropical fruit, resin and grapefruit. Fruity, malty taste with grass, grapefruit, tropical fruit, honey and a generous bitterness with a touch of resin. Rather light body, with a touch of sweetness. Generous hop character, possibly a bit thin. Nice one.

Cask at the Cask, Pimlico, 15/04/14. Clear golden blonde with a decent off white covering that retains well. Nose is citrus fruit, soft bread dough, light floral tones, orange. Taste comprises straw, light perfume, orange pith, pink grapefruit. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close peppered with grassy biterness. Decent enough GB.

Bottle from Beermoth, Manchester. Dropped unlucky with this one. It wasn’t in the best nick, although well in date. Anyway; hazy golden. White head. Lemon grainy aroma. Some grassiness. Dry, bitter palate. Bitter finish. All subdued by an unwelcome, vinegary mustiness. Will have to re-rate.

Bottle from ’Jacks’ Westholme Stores, Goring-on-Thames, Oxon. Consumed at Little Meadow campsite, Bredon, Worcs, Friday 20th September 2013 Pours gold, with white head. Very nice hoppy golden ale decently hoppy, a little drying. If I was a bit critical I would suggest that maybe its a little thin, but it is really nice. A6 A4 T7 P3 Ov13 3.4
