The first in the new Northern Alliance Series - cutting edge collaborations between breweries from the North. After packing in as much wheat malt as our mash tun could take, we used Citra hops, lemon grass and salted lemon peel to give you lip smacking awesomeness.

Bottle from Hop Hideout, Sheffield. (Also on tap, yesterday, at Friends of Ham, Leeds). Hazy, pale orange. Thin, sticky, lasting, white head. Chewy, orange vitamin C tablet. Refresher sweets. Sweet wheat. Taste has a peachy lick of sweetness. Restrained saltiness. Lemon is more restrained. Slight chew. Modicum of bitterness at the end. Belies it’s ABV, in so much as I ropped it in no time, although I’d have preferred more pithy lemon in there.
