Bottled@SBWF2012. Hazy yellow colour with a small white head. Aroma is fruity, wheaty, mild spicy and yeasty notes. Flavour is banana, some fruits, wheat, mild zesty and yeasty notes as well.

0.33l bottle shared with The Tasting Crew. This is a clear golden one with a small bubbly and quickly sidesticking off-white head. Smells of yeast, banana, cloves, dried fruity orange zest, hints of surprising smoke and some sweet bubblegum. A bit sweet, definitely different and quite good actually. Lots of sweet caramelized banana in the flavor. It's soft to average carbonated with a mild oily mouthfeel. A bit spicy, some grassy dryness, fruity-bubblegum - making this a sweet and quite original one. Those Japanese, crazy folkz! 22.08.2012

Bottle from brewdog.com. Hazy golden color with small long lasting white head. Aroma of yeast, wheat, light banana, clove. Taste, banana, citrus, wheat, caramel. Not so sweet as I expected. Tasty beer.

Bottle. Light banana and clove aroma. . Cloudy golden with a minimal white head. Funky banana, bubblegum, and clove flavor. A bit of tartness, and the slightest bitterness in the finish. Light body, lively carbonation.

Total Wine & More, Fairfax 750ml ($11): Pours a hazy yellow with a white head. Aroma is spicy, with some banana and some nascent sour notes. The slight sourness manifests itself in the beer. Fortunately, this is not too sweet. Nice body. Kind of addictive. A unique and clever weizen.

330 ml. bottle. $3.99 @ Carl’s Meat Market, Kittery ME. Hazy poor with ample carbonation into a Weizen glass. Huge head dies down to a thin layer. Nose is classic Hefe Nose of clove, yeast and banana. Taste of lemon, malt and clove however, you can pick-up a undelaying sour note in the flavor. It’s not real off putting, just different. Medium body. Over-all decent, Not sure I would spend 3.99 on a single again.

Refrigerated bottle poured into a weizen glass. Pours hazy golden with small white head. Some lacing, light body, and low carbonation. Taste is sour banana, and off lemon. Way below average taste and over priced.

Aroma has banana and flourish wheat. It is actually rather typical to a basic german weizen. Flavour has lots of banana and wheat with some spices like coriander and very slight sourness. A bit sweet finish. Surprisingly good and refreshing.
