Pours amber with a quickly fading.Nose shows big banana notes but also sweet malt and spicy hops. Nice malt character, suggesting at honey.Not as good flavours, very little in the way of typical wheat beer characters, mainly just honey and spicy hops.Body feels a bit watery.

Bottle from Cotteridge Wines; Owls are fuckers tried to hang one once and was just hovering in a bird like way the went all exorcist on me with a spinning head, Alan Partridge I’m still waiting for my chocolate orange I don’t care if its got cosmetic damage.

330ml bottle. Hazy golden colour with small, frothy, diminishing, white head. Fruity wheat malty aroma has notes of apple, banana, a touch of clove. Taste is moderately sweet wheat malty, hints of apple, banana, clove, some citrus, cautious spicy yeasty overtones; flat carbonation.

Bottle at Taps Beer Bar, Kuala Lumpur. Poured a crystal clear light amber with a glass hugging thin white head. The aroma is of mild banana and a little fruit. The flavour is sharp, crisp, medium bitter with a smooth banana tasting palate. A rather more refined, less "in your face" Weizen. Very drinkable in the Malaysian heat.

Cloudy orange with a white head that doesn’t last. Aroma of lemon, bread, cloves, banana. Light bodied, carbonation a little low for a hefe. Sweetish Bready, with subdued banana, more cloves, some pepper, a lemony/ wheaty twang, a little bitterness. OK. Probably not at its best - well in date, but only some Germans seem to travel well.

Rated in Shinkansen from bottle in 2009. Orangepeel, Ginger and clove notes light dusty finish. Banana and clementines exhaling. Solid and chewy, a desert weizen
