Bottle thanks to allmyvinyl. Appearance - golden with a decent head. Nose - honey and light struck match. Taste - really sweet honey. Palate - close to medium bodied with a tangy texture and a long sweet finish. Overall - not my favourite. A bit cloying.

Clear golden, quickly gone fizzy white head. Malty aroma with lot of nutmeg and cloves. Flavour has cinnamon, ginger and cloves. Mouthfeel is light with luvely carb. Pretty watery actually despite the strong spices. Not my thing.

Bottled. A golden beer with a white head. The aroma has notes of honey and malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, honey, and nutmeg, leading to a dry, herbal, and spicy finish.

330ml bottle. Clear, dark orangey golden to amber colour with average, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Cautious Xmas-spicy aroma, honey, cinnamon, and clove are explicitly detectable, also a peppery touch. Taste is cautiously spicy, minimally soapy, hints of honey, cinnamon, the soapy touch may stem from the ginger. Slightly discouraged, droopy, cautious - not overdone on the other hand. Meh.

Bottle at The Grapes, Oxford, Thursday 29th May 2014 in company of Helen & Geraint Aroma of marshmallow and popcorn and spice in fact a little Jelly Bean© ish. Quite unusual nose, soft in mouth some banana starts to come through but a little to heavily spiced. Interesting but unsure of itself. A6 A4 T6 P3 Ov13 3.2
