Based on an ancient Welsh beer style called bragawd, Bragging Rights is a lightly golden pale ale. The addition of honey, followed by a blend of nutmeg, coriander, black pepper, cloves, cinnamon and ginger, create a refreshing beer that is initially sweet yet spicy at the same time.

Cask handpull at Old Buttermarket Canterbury Nicholson pub. Gold clear lasting white head. I don’t like these braggerts. Too perfumed and all over the shop with flavours and aromas. Good condition. Not nasty just not my thing.

Cask @ GBBF 2013. Pours a golden color with a small white head. Has a fruity malty spicy honey aroma. Fruity malty spicy weak honey flavor. Has a fruity malty spicy honey finish with weak hoppy hints.

Cask @ Southwark Tavern, London. Pours golden with a small white head. Aroma of malt, light caramel, little fruity hops. Flavor is malt, nuts, caramel, fruity hops, apples. Medium body, soft carbonation. 170913

One-third pint by cask at GBBF 2013, first day. Crystal clear golden, bright naked surface. Leafy hops, lightly spiced, on the nose. Honey sweet flavour together with fresh fruits and mild spices. Leafy hops to the ending. Quite refreshing (London 13.08.2013).

Cask at Great British Beer Festival 2013. Poured a cloudy yellow with no head. Aroma of banana essence, cloves and lemon grass. Flavours of straw, bitter fruit rind and unroasted nuts. Palate was a little watery, with some citrussy notes and a little soap.

GBBF Day 3. Bright clear gold beer. Small white head. Smooth palate with a little fine carbonation. Unusual beer - strong taste of banana bread. Light touches of bubblegum ester and floral notes. Bit this is mostly well made banana bread! Light finish. These Craft Brewery beers are inventive and good fun!

From cask. Pours cloudy yellow with a small white head. Aroma is mild cinnamon like. Bitter, grassy and light citrusy. Bitter and crisp hoppy. Dry and light bitter finish.
