Aroma: smokey spiced and fruits. Flavour: fruits, nuts, spices and smokey malt with a strange fruity ash aftertaste. Colour: redbrown with an offwhite head. From: Voldby Købmandsgård Dec. 2015.

Ruby. Beige head. Aroma of ripe cherries and fruit cake. Refreshing and well-balanced taste, still with cherries and also sweet caramel. Aftertaste of bitter cherries.

[ As Austmann Quinta do Nöel ].Unclear matt medium amber color with a average to large, frothy - creamy, good lacing, mostly to fully lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, sweet malt, caramel, light dark malt, spicy notes, light to moderate yeasty. Flavour is moderate sweet and light bitter with a average duration, sweet malt, yeasty. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20140301]

Palate: Medium + body. Slightly sweet and a moderate bitterness. Average to soft carbonation.

Overall impression: Lovely tasty ale. Should have bought som more for storage. Recomendable.

Bottle at Fastelavn Smagning 2014 @ J&C’s beer palace, Jutland Saturday Session 1 - 01/03/14. Lightly hazed dark amber/chestnut brown with a moderate beige covering. Nose is toffee, light spice, dark fruit pangs, bready aroma. Taste comprises caramel, light spice rack, yeast esters, bitter orange, fruit loaf. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Ok.
