Bottle (from Ales by Mail). Golden colour with a small creamy white head, which leaves some lace. Aroma is mild floral, some fruity and a bit yeasty and wooden tones. Flavour is spicy, some zesty, mild yeasty, hayish and some grainy tones. Interesting how this brewery feels quite hit and miss to me, nothing so much in between. But that's probably just a sign, they aren't atleast doing the same old typical thing as many others.

500ml bottle. Clear golden colour with average, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Somehow surpressed hoppy aroma, hints of orange, pine, a touch of anise. Taste has anise notes, a dry hop touch in the background, cautious caramel malty basis. Anise seems to be more distracting than complementing or supporting.

Bottled 500ml (bottled 10/2013, AbM)
Golden, a bit hazy color, small steady white head. Quite weak nose, fruity and yeasty notes. Light-bodied. Citric, yeast, hay, orange peels. Can’t find much of star anise. A bit boring, although not much of false here.

Bottle at home from Sourced Market. Clear golden colour with a lasting white sticky head. Aroma is sharp lime citrus and clean base malt. Flavour is crisp biscuity pale ale base malt, lemon lime crisp hops. Some acid. Finish has subtle orangejuice flavours. Can’t get much star anise. Firm citrus bitter finish that lingers. Dryish finish

Bottle. A hazy, yellowish golden-orange beer with a small, dense, off-white head. The aroma has lots of oranges, not much spicyness, and the malts is in the far back. The flavor has a nice bitterness both initially and in the end, with oranges and some sweetish pale malts. Medium to full body, quite dry, and with a nice carbonation level. Bitter, fruity finish. Overall, a drinkable and quite tasteful one. 140118
