25cl from the brewery, bought 2010, found in my cellar. Deep malty beginning. Sweetish deep and intense. Malty caramelly, round and smooth. Not much bitterness, easy sessionable malty, nice.

Malziger, wenig karbonisierter Antrunk. Dumpf, alkoholisch, wenig aromatisch. Etwas fruchtig, die dumpfen Noten ersticken einige Aromen. Trinkbar. 9/9/8/8/9/8

Bottle at Fastelavn Smagning 2014 @ J&C’s beer palace, Jutland Saturday Session 1 - 01/03/14 bottle #001520. Light black with a moderate tan covering that dissipates to a pond and edgeing. Nose is light roast, toffee fudge, dark fruits. Taste comprises dark toffee fudge, light roast, tobacco, brown sugars, fruit cake. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, sweet close. Ok impy but lacks depth for the ABV. The alcohol is well disguised.

Bottle, 75cl corked. Bottle #1520. A very dark brown beer topped by a dense, light beige head. A bit sweetish on the nose, with molasses, roasted malts and coffee hints, some plums and prunes. The flavor is pretty sweet, with molasses, coffee and a touch of alcohol. Full body and a pleasant carbonation level, but a tad too sweet. Lasting sweet finish with roasted malts, chocolate and coffee. A nice one indeed. 140301
