500ml bottle on 11th September 2020 from M&S, Camden Town. Batch code L19 by 295 BBE 10-2920. Pours clear amber with shallow decaying foam and spot lacing. Bold caramel malt aroma. Very fruity in-mouth with citrus and herb notes on a caramel base. Sweet and fruity finish. Full bodied with a zingy mouthfeel. A veritable quencher. More of a well crafted English ale than American style.

Bottle. Golden color. Lime, a hint of tropical fruit and tea in the aroma and flavor. Malty yet dry. Thinnish. Earthy grassy hops. Pleasant ale.

Bottle shared at home. Almost clear golden with lasting white head. Lots of nice medium dry malts, bread crust, soft grass, old hops, peach, fresh plums. Not very fruity but some nice malts, especially for the abv. Light sweet and bitter and medium bodied.

Bottle from Marks & Spencer, Halifax. Golden with a thin head. Has a light pale ale texture, fairly hoppy, some malts, it’s not high on flavour but does have a good palatability.

2016 catch up - This was one of the better efforts from M&S. The hops were there, but I was craving more of them. A nice pint to have with burger and chips at home and one that I would consider buying again.
