Strawberry Mansion may sound like a nice place to grow up, but it was not. As in, not at all. However, this Philadelphia neighborhood was the place Lil’ Janelle Jackson called home. Lil’ because she was the youngest in a flock of six siblings. But in terms of body weight and height Janelle had outgrown all of them by the age of 13, and there was absolutely nothing Lil’ about her no more. And considering that the alleys of Strawberry Mansion were the main playground for the local kids, Janelle – or Nelly - often praised her parents for the gene pack they had equipped her with. Fights were inevitable and Nelly was not afraid of them. Even the boys feared her and soon came up with the nickname Nelly Neckbreaker for her, as a broken neck wasn’t an unlikely outcome of an encounter with Nelly. That tough street life in Strawberry Mansion might have broken many softer characters than Nelly, but it didn’t break her. Actually, she became one of the most famous stars in Women of Wrestling under the stage name of…well, you guessed it — Nelly Neckbreaker.

BB 02/2027. Hazy dark orange colour, small white head. Tropical fruity aroma with odd strawberry-like sweetness at the start. Medium-bodied. Flavour is similar: orange marmalade, strawberries, citrus. Is it yeast which makes this berryish vibes? Touch of Sabro coconut thrown in too. I am not a big fan.

A murky an golden beer, a head is medium and blond. Aroma has mango, grapefruit, hop oils. Taste has mango, grapefruit, mandarin. Medium bodied. Fruitful, fresh, good beer.

Draught, 8.5% at Skaal Sønderborg. Earthy, herbal hop aroma. Cloudy golden colour. Ok stable white head. The flavour is acidic with a good woody bitterness. More herbal and earthy hop in the flavour. Good clean bitterness. 737316

Tap at FOB, Rimini, Italy. Pours fully hazy, juicy, dark gold, with fairly gross white foam. Aroma is fruity, herbal, tropical. Body and carbonation are average. A little oily. Taste is moderately bitter. Final is fairly long.

0.44l can. Aroma of mango, passion fruit, pineapple and biscuit. Pours hazy dirty yellow color with medium sized creamy white head, good lacing and sparkling appearance. Taste starts juicy tropical and stone fruity, following is sweet malty, floral and honeyish, mouthfeel is smooth and warming, while finish is pretty bitter. Full body, creamy texture and average carbonation in palate. Brain cell breaker :)

Tap @ Melkebaren. Hazy yellow golden body under a big white head. Strong aroma of tropical fruits. Taste is smooth and refreshing with tropical juice and some zesty bitterness. Alcohol is well integrated. Fine body with a refreshing aftertaste as well. The best NEIPA I had from the Melkebaren selection this week.

Very very fruity aroma, lemons, peaches, apricot, watermelon - a refreshing exotic fruity aroma, not too sweet. juicy.
Flavor is juicy fruity as well as herbal and hay hoppy, you can sense a very strong alc. but it does not taste specifically like alcohol, however, there is this alcohol like subtle flavor note sort of basing all the other stuff. Like a good drink with just a tiny bit too much or too strong vodka.
end is not that bitter hoppy, in general a brutally strong xxx triple imperial ipa that probably work best as a sipper when you really need it.
