Peanut butter and not much else. Reese cup nose is nice, but the taste only flirts with depth, instead offering up an initial flurry of peanut butter but fading into a mild chocolate-dusted porter with a surprising amount of English fruitiness. Bandwagon beer with a admittedly good name. Eh.

Pours black with a thin head. Aroma of peanut butter. Taste is similarly dominated by peanut butter influences. Palate is somewhat bland, only a few dark notes. Interesting beer, very heavy.

Draught @ Hoppy Corner, Paris. Pours black with a brown head, lacings. Aroma of roasted malt, caramel, chocolate, peanut butter. Flavor is sweet, malty, caramel, chocolate, peanut butter. Medium body, average to lively carbonation, sweet finish. The high carbonation makes it a little fizzy. 151018

Bottle. A- Roasty, cocoa, nutty. A- Black color, dark liquid, tan head. T- Roasty, dry, nutty, char, slightly bitter, cocoa. P- Medium body, average texture, average carbonation, balanced finish. O- Had my share of peanut butter beers now. They always entice me yet I am always a little let down. The sweet peanut butter I want turns out to be a bitter dry roastiness. That said, this was pretty good. Drank like expected and was one of the better PB beers I've had but just not quite what I am after. All in all, very drinkable.

Dark color with a peanut butter aroma. Sweet malt and peanut butter flavor balanced a little bit by hops. Unusual, like drinking a peanut butter and jelly sandwich.
