A classic full-bodied chocolate peanut butter porter with a smooth, dry finish & just enough hops to balance aromas & flavors of roasted malt, chocolate, & rich peanut butter. One sip and you will…exclaim the name!

Bottle pour into tulip glass from Manchester Wine and Liquors. Appearance is dark brown/ruby red, decent sparkle, finger-width light brown foamy head with poor retention and trace lacing. Aroma is strong roasted malts, chocolate, lighter peanut butter. Taste is bittersweet roasted malts bordering on ash, chocolate and peanut butter. Palate is medium bodied with slick, smooth texture, soft carbonation and finish as taste with late dominant bitter ending. Overall, some complexity with a number of aromas/flavors and combination of sweet and bitter.

Well, There’s no doubt whatsoever that it’s a peanut butter Porter. Aroma’s in your face peanut butter and a little roasty malt. Flavor’s like nose, fairly dry, average carbonation. Long

12 oz. bottle. Thanks, Ian! Black color, with a ruby tint and a big, bubbly, tan head. The aroma is roasted peanuts, baking chocolate, brown sugar, pine sap, and toffee. Sweet and malty, with a mild, unpleasant bitterness. Light to medium body, syrupy, and a little astringent. This is a fun and aromatic porter, but the long, bitter aftertaste is unfortunate.

Very dark brown pour with cherry cola highlights. Large beige head with great retention. Good lacing. Strong peanut butter and chocolate nose. Taste follows the nose. Sweet and silky smooth. Great dessert beer!

Bottle from J’s. Pours a pitch black with a finger of brown foam that lingers. Big peanut butter and almond nose with hints of cacao nib and roasted cocoa. Full-bodied for a porter, but tons of peanut butter and some creaminess on the palate. Lingering hoppy bitterness. Fun stuff.

12 oz bottle. Pours a very dark clear brown with moderate off white head. Aromas of rich dark peanut butter, heavy on the nuts, with some roasted malts hanging around in the background. Flavors of a snickers bar with lots of dry roasted malts. Subtle hops - only in the imagination... A bit in your face and gimmicky - but OK. I certainly would not have more than one at a sitting...
