At Patrick’s. Big and black. Smells like coffee of course. Mild coffee flavors from the start, not rude or peppery like so many other coffee stout wannah bees. Yes, coffee is present but it’s never in yer face. Bitterness is minimized throughout. Nice way to bring real coffee flavors into a stout. Goes down quite easy, I liked this brew. Not sure what the alky level is but it seems quite civilized and well behaved. Nice job CB!

Sampled on draft at the brewpub this beer poured a black color with an enormous foamy tan head that lingered and left great lacing. The aroma was brewed coffee, vanilla and cola. The flavor was malty with molasses, wheat, pepper and brewed coffee. Long finish. Medium body. Meh.
