Bocktown tap. Big and dark. Aroma of old wet campfire wood. Some co2. Rather mild but there is this slight hint of pepper in thar. Some leather as well. Quite well behaved example of a friendly dark beer. Not sure about the farmy saison thang, would not have thought of this by taste as a saison but never the less its a pretty good beer drinlen session. Nice, FP.

Sampled on draft at the brewery this beer poured a very dark brown - almost black color with an enormous fluffy beige head that lingered and left a bit of lacing. The aroma was roasty, woody and musty with notes of bread crust, pepper and almost bourbon. The flavor was roasty and woody with bread crust, pepper, mustiness and a hint of dark fruit. Long finish. Medium body. Odd.
