On tap at the magic tree, nice place. Big and dark presentation. Smells a little like a mild stout. No head. Wew, first impression is a spicey volatile winter holiday beer. Has a kik fer sure. Way too much personality for this lager lover. Strong and in yer face spice thing. Rude and on style for a holiday beer, heheh. If you like that genre, try this, you’ll like it. Alky impact on the finish leaves you a little dizzy.

Sample at Brews Cafe. The beer pours a dark reddish-amber color with a medium thin light beige head that recedes quickly to an outer ring. Spotty lacing on the glass. Aroma of dark fruit, yeast and malt. Medium to full body with a dark fruit and fig character, and notes of earthy yeast and roast malt. The finish is sweet candi and fruit. Pretty good all around.
