Faint malt aroma with unremarkable malt taste. Lightly hopped with some lingering hops on the palate. Drinkable, but not memorable.

Pour is a clear orange with a small white head. Aroma is a big sweet caramel with some earthy hops. Flavor is somewhat hoppy with a decent malt backbone. Finish is kind of watery but leaves some fruity hop on the tongue. It’s ok nothing great but nothing bad to say as well.

Location: 12 oz bottle from Buy Rite, 9/6/13
Aroma: The aroma is a little light, metallic hops, some grass, and caramel/toffee malts
Appearance: It pours a reddish-orange color, with a white colored head that leaves plenty of lace
Flavor: The taste is not really all the hoppy or malty, it's decent, but also a little thin flavor-wise
Palate: The body is light-medium, though it feels a little thin, with a decent, not great, mouthfeel
Overall Impression: I wasn't a huge fan of this one. It's an okay at best, fairly uninspired APA. It is fine, but I really just didn't love it at all.

12oz bottle. An interesting enough APA, maybe Widmer’s answer to CItra Pale Ale craze? The Vienna and Munich malts here really make the difference, giving it a nice German feel, approaching Rye, with a firm earthy, citrus hop bill. Pleasant melon tinged aroma. This is a really solid beer, straightforward and well done.

Bottle from GBBF 2013 drunk at home listening to Simon & Garfunkel. Clear amber colour thin lasting off white head. Slightly oxidised aroma. Some toffee, some very harsh, metallic hop flavour. Some hop. It’s fine, Just a little metallic and may be a touch oxidised from the journey across the pond. Some decent orange fruit. Fine.
