Draft. A dar brown beer with a lazing brown head. The aroma has notes of butter and roasted malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of butter and roasted malt, leading to a dry buttery finish. Off due to the long break in serving which was due to rebuilding of the place.

Tap at Apollo brewpub, 28/02/14. Extremely dark mahogony brown approaching light black with a well appointed tan covering. Nose is milk chocolate, berry fruits, dark malt, grain, light sugary tones. Taste comprises chocolate dipped cherries, light roast, brown sugars, tarte berry fruit pangs. Medium bodied, light prickly carbonation. Ok porter largely does what the name suggests.
