Slightly hazy golden coloured body with an orange tint and a very thin white head. Aroma of very fresh dry hopped cascade hops, along with a plentiful amount of yeast, light sugar, oranges and even a touch of coriander seed. Light to Medium-bodied; Nice sharp hop flavour up front with some lighter malt tastes and a very clean and refreshing coriander seed taste with the yeast still prominent. Aftertaste shows promise and good character - definitely good! Overall, a good lager - more of a dortmunder than anything else - but good! I sampled this 500 mL bottle purchased VERY freshly, when the label wasn’t even on the front... Cask gravity at St Albans BF 2007. This was labelled as Tunnel MS Lager, but the ABV is the same, so I guess it is the same beer. Hazy gold, no head. Definite farty lager aroma. Decent hop mind you. It’s a British cask conditioned lager I thought, but I bow to Glen’s experience. Lemony brisk hop on finish is good. Prickly. Actually pretty good.
