Slightly hazy golden coloured body with an orange tint and a very thin white head. Aroma of very fresh dry hopped cascade hops, along with a plentiful amount of yeast, light sugar, oranges and even a touch of coriander seed. Light to Medium-bodied; Nice sharp hop flavour up front with some lighter malt tastes and a very clean and refreshing coriander seed taste with the yeast still prominent. Aftertaste shows promise and good character - definitely good! Overall, a good lager - more of a dortmunder than anything else - but good! I sampled this 500 mL bottle purchased VERY freshly, when the label wasn’t even on the front... Best before date of: 23-November-2008, from the Tunnel Brewery stand, near the Utobeer Market Stall in Borough Market, London, England on 09-March-2008.

Cask gravity at St Albans BF 2007. This was labelled as Tunnel MS Lager, but the ABV is the same, so I guess it is the same beer. Hazy gold, no head. Definite farty lager aroma. Decent hop mind you. It’s a British cask conditioned lager I thought, but I bow to Glen’s experience. Lemony brisk hop on finish is good. Prickly. Actually pretty good.
