Flaske 0,75l fra Vinmonopolet Tromsø Langnes. Delt i godt selskap på Nerstranda 18 Jun 14. Mer smell - om mulig høyere enn på Amber’n. Lys gusjegul. Uklar. Høyt luftig skum. God aprikos-/mandarinaroma. Intens mandarinsmak. Blir litt ensformig.

Bottle. Pours a hazy yellow color with a white head. Has a fruity citrus hoppy aroma. Fruity citrus hoppy flavor. Has a fruity malty citrus hoppy finish.

Uklar gul farge med masse skum ved skjenking. Liker at den er såpass godt med kullsyre. Men skuffende på lukt og smak. Lukter litt svakt med humle, grapefrukt og sitron. Mangler også den bitre gode ipa ettersmaken. Men samtidig frisk tørstedrikke

Big fizzy longlasting head. Aroma is loaded with co2 stinging in the nose, weeds, hay, light malts, yeast, wet grain, something sweet funky citrusy....something. Taste is kind of harsh grainy, weeds, hay, harsh wet grain, light malts, yeast. Little bitterness, dry very watery mouthfeel, very high carbonation. Meh!!

Bottle 750ml. w. swing top @ [ Fastelavn Smagning - Carnival Tasting, Ulfborg ]. [ As Holtens IPA ].Clear medium orange yellow color with a large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, moderate hoppy, citrus, plastic, green apples, orange - citrus. Flavour is moderate to light light heavy sweet and light to moderate bitter with a long duration, peach, fruity, hoppy, apple - green apples, vegetables ! Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20140301]

Bottle at Fastelavn Smagning 2014 @ J&C’s beer palace, Jutland Saturday Session 1 - 01/03/14. Hazed orange with a good sized white covering that retains well. Nose carries notes of sweaty towels, bitter orange, ladies armpit aroma, bread dough, peach. Taste comprises floral notes, mandarin, apricot, juicy hop tang, melon, grassy. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Didn’t have a problem with this one, an Ok IPA!

Bottle, 75cl. A hazy, golden beer topped by a dense, off-white head leaving lacings. Some fruityness in the aroma, hints of tropical fruits and yeast, and some maltyness. DMS. The flavor has the same DMS, tropical fruits and yeast, still low on malts, and not much bitterness either. Medium to full body, quite effervescent. Lasting finish with fruityness, yeast and DMS. Yet another rather bad one from Holtens. 140301

Pours hazy golden with a white head, Aroma has notes of malt, cooked vegetable, pine and citrus. Taste is light to medium sweet and light bitter. Body is light to medium, texture is thin to oily, carbonation is soft.

75 cL bottle. Pours cloudy yellow with a huge white head. Aroma is peachy and citrusy. Sweet, citrusy and peachy. Smooth fruity and mild vegetables. Toffee and peachy to citrusy. Dry and bitter finish.
