Bottle at home. Pours a deep dark brown to black colour with a small light brown head. Roasted aroma with brownies, coffee, burned wood and some lactose. Is a little sweet in the background. The flavour has more roasted malt along with ash, roasted coffee beans and some licorice. Has a light and silky mouth feel, and a light to medium bitterness. A nice and roasted porter that is also quite easy-drinking.

[ As Kinn Prestesonen ].Clear dark brown color with a small to average, frothy - fizzy and open, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to light beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, dusty malt, coffee, dusty coffee. Flavour is moderate sweet and moderate to heavy bitter with a long duration, roasted, dark roasted, malt bitter, light chocolate. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20140301]

Bottle at Fastelavn Smagning 2014 @ J&C’s beer palace, Jutland Saturday Session 1 - 01/03/14. Light black vergeing on extremely dark mahogony brown with a moderately appointed light tan head that dissipates to spotting and edgework. Nose is big roast malt, earthy cocoa, dark toffee fudge. Taste comprises full on roasties, molasses, tobacco, cocoa powder, treacle toffee, leather. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Solid porter.
