On tap, with nice eye candy. Nice a dark looking. A very nice dark beer effect initially on the palate. Slight smell of gramma’s old permanent hair treatment and with mild notes of blast furnace slag, heheh. Not much of the maple thing here and I’m glad of it, so many maple beers add maple flavoring but this is well done. Easy going and fun fer sure. Just a simple friendly porter all the way down. Glad to have tasted this, would not hesitate to drink again. One of the better refined dark beers I’ve had lately. Reminds me of a dark american lager with a little personality. YES!
