I thought this beer would be like many imperial stouts I had when I saw the ABV. But I’ll tell you, this beer hides the alky very well, it is brewed with respect. Very nice aromas of friendly stout, and a little volatile which sets off the alarm. Nice and black in appearance. Taste is surprisingly well mannered and interesting. Smooth and silky IMHO. Good attitude. Does have lots of that milk stout appeal that I am so fond of. Good job on this one shu. Decent finish for a 6 percenter.
